Kind-of a lame topic tea is, just plain old leaves wrapped in a material cover letting water absorb the flavors of the tea.. Sound good? Meh, its not everyone's 'cup of tea' (:D pun intended) but when you enjoy it, its a great thing to drink, and is full of so many health benefits too. A friend of mine challenged me to this, saying coffee is just as healthy and I completely disagree.
First off, if your looking for full health benefits, drink decaffeinated tea. Caffeine is a very unhealthy drug, that many people are actually addicted to by consuming it on average 2-6 times a day! It also increases blood pressure, heart rate, anxiety, depression, stomach pains, inadequate stunted growth, yellow teeth and bad breath. Have you ever walked into a classroom and had it reek like stale old coffee? It use to happen to me every day for English...
Tea is pumped full of antioxidants. What are those you ask? They are things that reduce oxidation, which is a chemical reaction in which an atom loses electrons and combines with oxygen giving it a positive charge, creating molecules called 'Free-Radicals' that damage substances in the body that do important things, like enzymes, proteins, blood cells, etc.and could lead to diseases. They also multiply when your exposed to harmful toxins like pollution and radiation.
What do antioxidants do? They help rid and reduce these from over-producing and making you really sick, which is why a diet full of antioxidants, especially for adults, is a great idea. Some other good things to them are as such:
-reduce cancers
-reduce heart disease
-help in cognitive thinking
-increases immunity
-helps your senses
Now Leah, how do I get these antioxidants, even if I don't like tea?
Well, blog reader, there are many other, maybe more tasteful things that can help, like fruits and vegetables, grains, and a lot of meats.
I hope this blog was informative! I didn't know what to write about, so I chose something that I enjoy on a daily basis. Now go have a cup of tea!

I watched this documentary about students graduating from University and having a hard time finding a job in that particular field for reasons like competition with more experienced people, employers thinking you have a high expectation coming from school, and the fact technology's advancing rapidly and replacing ordinary jobs, like automated cars delivering pizza, or prescription-filling machines! One of my job interests was to be pharmacy/chemistry based and there aren't a lot of opportunities for that, especially with how our futures looking. I'm considering going into physical therapy instead, because there will be high demand for health related industries. Maybe even study disease and immunizations.
I haven't found any governing bodies in the field of pharmacy, but there are many research labs that probably can't run without government control, but I'm not sure if they are looking for people for this or promoting it at all. "World trade would be a better field for govern wants" Says substitute teacher Mr. Emery, but this isn't an interest of mine, so not at the top of my list.
To further my wants in a future job, I will be taking co-ops in biology and chemistry in the next few years, doing research about curiosities of my own, and looking into secondary education schools. I can also work with St. Johns Ambulance to further my health and technological skills, and take necessary and related courses to further my understanding of them.

My first assigned blog! Isn't this exciting :3 haha. Well, I was asked this, and I decided to make a list of attributes I'd like to have for my future success. I would want:
-To be courageous and social with the people I meet day to day.
-To have an open-minded and always trying new things.
-To have a second education of sorts (college or university) in either chemistry or accounting.
-To be smart and more punctual, and to have a wider diction.
-To be comfortable in where I live and who I live with (if anyone).
-To not have to stress about bills or food or shelter.
-To have healthy relationships with my family.
-To be surrounded with only positive, happy people.
-To forever be happy myself :)

First off, you might not know what a blog is. So I put the dictionary explanation right at the top for every time you open it. Its basically just a place to splurrr my ideas and thoughts of day to day things. I'm gonna talk about why I made a website, and it is for my Future Forum Program I'm taking in placement of English, Civics and Careers. You learn all the necessary things, just more technology based, and one of the tasks at hand is to create our own website. At first I was skeptical, I have tons of other crap to do in my life, another thing to maintain? But then I started making this and it seems like it'll be fun and not as time consuming as I originally thought. And now here we are.
