Gnats... Who else despises them? -___- 06.12.13.
I swear, gnats are out to get me. I hope I'm alone on this, but probably not.
Have you ever been walking down the street, and have a couple little annoying bugs run into your cheeks? Your eyes? And your mouth? Yes, they attack everywhere, but only the face, and I was curious as to, why? I'm not THAT good looking.. Apparently, some gnats actually like the mucus on your eyes, and eating it. That's really gross. They also like blood, pus, and rotting things, so could be attracted to bad breath too S: But I was told something MARVELOUS about gnats, and that is that they like the top point in your body, meaning your face, so if you raise your hand(s) above your head, they will be attracted to them instead! I've personally found this helps a great deal, even though you may look a little funny with your hand in the air. But who cares? It's better then the alternative! |
Seniors Losing License.. Justified? April. 17. 2013.
I read an article today about this woman who is 94 that was pulled over on a highway for driving to slow, wasn't charged, but later had her license revoked due to 'medical reasons' stated in the letter sent to her. I don't think that's fair. I mean I don't agree with older people driving, for the safety factor OF driving slowly on a highway, or I feel they should have to re-take their license, but that's out of surprise and not very nice at all. What do you think?
Not Right at all. April. 4. 2013.
Today I was looking around on the internet like I usually resort to, and came across an old torture method used by people in France in the 17th and 18th century, where they would force water down their throats and into their stomach. Too much, and they'll get water intoxication, become 'hazed', and possibly fatal.
Social Networks Hacked? O: Feb. 20. 13.
Today I was reading my twitter homepage and came across CBC news talking about Facebook and Twitter being hacked. Apparently peoples information have been being changed on twitter, but nothings happened on facebook. The U.S is thinking that the China Military is responsible for these attacks, but they deny being involved at all. If you'd like to read more about it, check this out--> http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2013/02/20/china-us-hacking-cyber.html?cmp=rss
The Renaissance Man Feb. 15. 13.
I read this article called the Renaissance Man and is about a man that devotes an hour a day, whether it be night or day, home or a friends, to learn something new everyday. This ranges from complicated astrophysics to simply being ambidextrous (which I am) I like this idea of putting some time away to flex your mind, and I think I would do this if I didn't go to school and jam-pack my mind with information already haha. But if you have the time, try it out. You have the whole internet at your fingertips! Use it! The link for the article is as shown for ya : http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/22/education/edlife/renaissance-man.html?_r=3&
